AlHijjah 30, 1436, October 14, 2015, SPA -- Authorities in Puerto Rico say they have seized $12 million worth of cocaine found floating in waters off the U.S. territory's southeast coast, AP reported. Police said Tuesday that the drugs were found near an abandoned boat close to the town of Arroyo. Authorities said the hundreds of kilograms of cocaine were likely shipped from Venezuela and will be turned over to the U.S. federal agents. No one has been arrested. Police in Puerto Rico have sized nearly 7,000 kilograms (15,500 pounds) of cocaine so far this year, a nearly 50 percent increase compared with all of last year.
