AlHijjah 25, 1436, October 09, 2015, SPA -- Accompanied by his family, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Hasan, a Sudan-origin U.S. teenager inventor, performed Umrah in Makkah today at the expense of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. At the grand mosque, he was received by a number of officials of the General Presidency of the Haram affairs. Earlier in the day, the king's guest arrived in Jeddah coming from the United States of America in yet a new gesture towards Muslim young innovators and brilliants. For their part, the parents, brothers and sisters of Ahmed, 14, who was known to have invented a digital electronic watch, expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his invitation to Ahmed and his family to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, perform Umrah (minor Hajj) in Makkah, visit the Madinah-based prophet's mosque and some relatives in the Kingdom. They said the offer extended to their young son is not strange as the monarch has shown mercy and love towards Muslim scientists and brilliants, the poor, the sick and martyrs relatives. The child's father highlighted his son's innovation, saying that he receives more than 4000 messages per day, either lauding the innovation or offering to get the new device manufactured.
