AlHijjah 25, 1436, Oct 9, 2015, SPA -- The Netherlands is to build housing for 10,000 refugees in the coming months following a decision made Friday at a crisis government meeting on the issue, dpa reported. People with recognized refugee status are to be transferred from emergency accommodation to housing in regional provinces as soon as possible, said Secretary of State Klaas Dijkhoff, who is responsible for responding to questions on migration. An estimated 12,000 people, mostly from Syria and Eritrea, arrived in the Netherlands in September. More than 35,000 migrants are expected to arrive in the country this year.
