AlHijjah 24, 1436, October 08, 2015, SPA -- An ultra-light aircraft carrying two people on a sightseeing flight over the mountains of central Nepal went missing Thursday, officials said, according to AP. Pokhara airport official Kashi Nath Poudel said the aircraft was piloted by a Russian national and was carrying a South African tourist. He said the aircraft is able to stay aloft for about two hours, but there had been no contact for four hours. Another official, Chiranjivi Karki, said a helicopter and another ultra-light aircraft were searching the mountainous area but had not found any trace by late afternoon. The plane took off from Pokhara, about 200 kilometers (125 miles) west of the capital, Kathmandu.
