AlHijjah 24, 1436, October 08, 2015, SPA -- Britain will deploy troops to the Baltic states as part of an effort to boost NATO's presence in the pact's eastern-most member states, Defence Secretary Michael Fallon said Thursday, according to dpa. "They will be part of ... the new training, evaluation and capacity-building mission in the Baltic states," Fallon said in Brussels, on the margins of a meeting of NATO defence ministers. "This is our policy of persistent presence and aid for our allies on the eastern flank of NATO, in response to Russian aggression and provocation," he added, naming the Baltic states and Poland.
