AlHijjah 16, 1436, Sep 30, 2015, SPA -- The Council of the Arab League (AL), held at the level of foreign ministers, denounced the voices which attempted to politically exploit the stampede incident of pilgrims, which took place in Mina, considering them as voices which do not reflect the appreciable efforts exerted and are being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to serve the guests of Allah and to mobilize all resources to facilitate performing the rite of Hajj. In a statement issued by the council, following a meeting held on Monday at the UN premises, in New York, under the chairmanship of the United Arab Emirates and the attendance of the Secretary General of the AL, the council offered sincere condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the victims of the sorrowful accident among pilgrims, at Mina, during the 1st day of the Eid.
