AlHijjah 13, 1436, Sep 27, 2015, SPA -- World champion Lewis Hamilton cruised to victory at the Japanese Grand Prix Sunday to extend his lead in the Formula One drivers' championship, dpa reported. As in Suzuka last year the Mercedes driver won the race after starting second behind team-mate Nico Rosberg. It was Hamilton's eighth win of the season and the 41st of his career to draw level in the all-time winners' list with his childhood hero Ayrton Senna. Rosberg was second and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, the winner last week in Singapore, third. Hamilton now has a 48-point lead over Rosberg with five races remaining, while Vettel 11 points further back.
