AlHijjah 12, 1436, Sep 26, 2015, SPA -- The Muslim World League (MWL) has expressed its condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and all the Muslims on the stampede incident which occurred last Thursday, resulting in the death and injury of several victims. This came in a statement issued today by the MWL Secretary General, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki who expressed sympathy with the families of the victims, wishing the martyrs mercy by Allah Almighty and the injured quick recovery. Dr. Al-Turki also denounced statements made by a number of Iranian officials casting doubt on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts and keenness to take care of the pilgrims of the Great House of Allah and the Mosque of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), describing them as irresponsible remarks aimed at offending the kingdom and its leaders. He warned whoever takes this sad opportunity to degrade the great efforts being exerted by the Kingdom in the care of pilgrims. Those have other purposes and want to reach them through these wicked ways, but in vain, he stressed.
