AlHijjah 9, 1436, Sep 23, 2015, SPA-- Tropical Storm Ida Wednesday remained poorly organized as it meandered over the central tropical Atlantic, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said. The storm's maximum sustained winds early Wednesday were 65 kilometers per hour (kph) with little change in strength forecast through late Thursday. The storm was centered roughly 1,700 kilometers east to the northern Leeward Islands and was moving south at 7 kph. The NHC said that the storm's eastward drift likely was to continue Wednesday, with a gradual turn to the north predicted to begin Thursday.
