AlHijjah 03, 1436, September 17, 2015, SPA -- A tropical depression in the Atlantic has gained a little strength but is expected to weaken,AP reported. The depression's maximum sustained winds Thursday morning are near 35 mph (55 kph). The U.S. National Hurricane Center says some weakening is expected during the next few days and the depression could degenerate to a remnant low pressure area by Saturday. The depression is centered about 1,065 miles (1,715 kilometers) east of the Lesser Antilles and is moving northwest near 7 mph (11 kph). The depression does not currently pose a threat to any land.
