AlQa'dah, 1436, September 08, 2015, SPA -- The National Water Company continues to work on the implementation of strategic water storage projects in Makkah, as it is currently implementing the first part of the first phase of the project with a storage capacity estimated at 560,000 cubic meters at a cost of more than SR 170 million. The director of asset services and projects in work unit in Makkah and Taif Engineer Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Omari pointed out that this phase of the project will be completed at the end of the second quarter of 2016, noting that the company continues its works in the creation of strategic water storage projects in Makkah region to raise the storage capacity and support for the Grand Holy Mosque, especially during the times of seasonal Umrah and Hajj, as it is now working to create a tank project for the Grand Holy Mosque consisting of four tanks.
