AlQa'dah 19, 1436, Sep 3, 2015, SPA -- G20 Labor and Employment Ministers began here today their meeting. Dr. Moufarrej bin Saad Al-Hagbani, Minister of Labor, led the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the meeting. In his speech before the meeting, Al-Hagbani stressed that the Saudi economy witnessed a great development during the last decade in light of steady and strong increase in gross domestic product (GDP). "The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud aims towards more economic diversification and enhances development of non-oil sectors," he added, pointing out, despite of recent declines in oil prices, there are development and investment programs in the productive and service sectors, especially in the fields of infrastructure, transportation and communications. During the last years, Al-Hagbani highlighted that the Kingdom implemented a comprehensive reform of the labor market through launching several initiatives and programs including development of legislation and regulations.
