AlQa'dah 17, 1436, Sep 1, 2015, SPA -- The 2018 annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank will be held in Bali Nusa Dua, Indonesia, following a vote by the boards of governors of the two lending institutions. "I would like to thank the government and people of Indonesia for hosting the 2018 annual meetings. This will be a great opportunity to showcase Indonesia's impressive economic and social achievements, as well as the culture, people, beauty, and vitality of the country," IMF Managing-Director Christine Lagarde said in a statement Tuesday. "I thank President [Joko] Widodo and the people of Indonesia for the invitation. It will be an honor for our institutions that the meetings will be hosted in Bali Nusa Dua," said World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim.
