AlQa'dah 14, 1436, Aug 29, 2015, SPA -- Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), condemned the terrorist blast which left one policemen dead last night in Karranah and several civilians wounded. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the GCC Secretary General strongly denounced the terror bombing which, he said, trespassed on all human values and lofty principles. He called upon the international organizations to step up all efforts to root out terrorist groups and masterminds and dry up their sources of funding. He commended the efforts of the security agencies to arrest the perpetrators of this crime and enforce the law and reiterated the stance of all GCC states in support of Bahrain, backing all the measures taken by the Kingdom to preserve its security and stability and protect citizens and residents from the foreign-aided and abetted terrorist crimes. Dr. Al-Zayani extended sincerest condolences to the King, Government and people of Bahrain, wishing the wounded military and civilians quick recovery.
