According to dpa, a fire was triggered by the blast in Shandong province, the Xinhua news agency reported, and quoted a witness as saying that 12 fire trucks were called in to battle the blaze. Meanwhile, the toll has risen to 121 from last week's massive explosions at a chemical warehouse in Tianjin, north-eastern China, with 54 people still missing. Of the confirmed dead, 67 were firefighters and seven were police officers, according to Xinhua. About 640 people remain hospitalized, including 48 critically injured by the multiple explosions that shot into the sky above the city late on August 12.
