AlQa'dah 03, 1436, August 18, 2015, SPA -- The ruling party led by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe won Sri Lanka's parliamentary elections, officials said Tuesday, according to dpa. Preliminary final results showed the ruling United National Party set to secure about 105 seats in the 225-seat parliament. It is expected to have the support of some members of the opposition for a majority necessary to form a government. About 70 per cent of the 15 million registered voters voted in Monday's elections.
