AlQa'dah 2, 1436, Aug 17, 2015, SPA -- Four people were killed Sunday when two small planes collided in midair not far from downtown San Diego, near the U.S.-Mexico border, UPI cited authorities as saying. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the planes -- a twin-engine Sabreliner and a single-engine Cessna 172 -- ran into each other at about 11 a.m. local time near Brown Field Municipal Airport in Otay Mesa. Both planes broke up into pieces, while they were attempting to land at Brown Field, the FAA said. The cause of the accident will be investigated by the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board.
