Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Sharq, Al-Youm, and Al-Watan newspapers commented on Yemen, saying that the Popular Resistance in Yemen continues to advance at the expense of Houthi forces and their political and military ally Ali Abdullah Saleh, noting that after days of the liberation of Aden, the most important city in the south, other areas have been liberated including Lahj province and Al-Anad strategic military base; while battles continued in Taiz and Abyan amid news of the continuing retreat of the rebel forces.
