The largest festival of dates in the world will kick off its activities on Wednesday in Buraidah, which is considered the largest unique economic event in this field, where farmers, traders and shoppers will meet over 40 days to sell and buy different varieties of the finest kind of dates famous in Qassim region. The Mayor of Qassim region and Supervisor of Buraidah Dates Festival, Engineer Saleh Al-Ahmad said the successful organization of the past festivals has given more distinction to the development team aiming to work and achieve the aspirations, and work on putting additions contributing to highlighting the festival. He praised the support provided by Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, to city of dates and its festivals.
