A Palestinian was killed overnight to Monday while Israeli border police were trying to arrest him in a refugee camp north of Occupied Quds. Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the Palestinian had been trying to escape arrest by climbing on to the roof of his building in the Qalandia refugee camp, dpa reported. Rosenfeld added that border police shot him in the lower body when he ignored their calls to freeze and instead tried to jump to the roof of a nearby building, but fell to the ground and died.
