Saudi Public Transport Company registered an increase of its net profits by 246% in the first half of this year compared to the similar period of the previous year amounting to SR 150.7 millions. The company said in a statement today on "Tadawul" site that it achieved net profits during the second quarter amounted to SR 12.8 million, down by 42.8% compared to the similar quarter of the previous year, and down by 91.3% from the previous quarter, noting that the profit per share amounted to SR 1.21 compared to SR 0.35. The company attributed its profits to the expropriation of a land in Madinah and receiving an amount of SR 119.9 million, indicating that with the exception of these profits, the company achieved profits amounting to SR 30.9 million by the end of the first half of the year, 2015, down by 29% compared to the similar period of the previous year.
