Yemeni Vice President and Prime Minister Khaled Bahah, met here today with UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Muhammad Gargash. During the meeting, the two sides discussed latest developments in Yemen, in addition to a number of issues for common cooperation in political, military and developmental fields. According to Yemen News Agency, the Yemeni Vice President expressed his government appreciation of the role of United Arab Emirates and other countries in the Arab Coalition, in general, for taking part in the operation of liberation of the city of Aden from rebel militias. He pointed to the importance of preserving this victory for starting the reconstruction process of Aden. For his part, the UAE official expressed hope that security and stability will prevail in all Yemeni provinces, in the near future, stressing the continuation of UAE full support of the Yemeni people and rejection of all forms of extremism.
