The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Higher Court today repeated its call on all Muslims in the country to monitor the appearance of the new moon of Shawal 1436 H. at sunset on Thursday corresponding to 29 of Ramadan according to Ummal Qura calendar through mere seeing or using any advanced device which, if seen, will determine the end of the month of Ramadan and the beginning of blessed Eid Al-Fitr. In a statement, the court said special committees formed in the Kingdom's administrative regions are also ready to accept the efforts of pioneers in this endeavor. It also advised whoever watches the moon to report and give his testimony to the nearest court or request the nearest government center to help him reach the nearest court.
