A number of dignitaries have expressed their sadness, sympathy and condolence to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Saudi people on the sad demise of Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Prince Saud passed away in the United States yesterday. In statements to mark the sad occasion, they said Prince Saud Al-Faisal was not only a dedicated politician but also a highly intellectual instructor of his generation, man of peace, balanced and moderate-thinker. His final departure is a great loss not only to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but also to Arab and Islamic worlds, they said. The condolers were Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Premier of Kuwait and Foreign Minister and Sheikh of Cairo-based Al-Azhar Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayyib.
