Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received today a phone call from his Jordanian counterpart Abdullah Ensour who condemned the Friday terrorist attack on a mosque in Kuwait city. Offering his condolences for victims of the blast, Ensour stressed Jordan's support to Kuwait against terrorism, and any other threats to the country's security and stability. The explosion that hit Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Al-Sawaber neighborhood, Kuwait city, during Friday noon prayers, left some 27 worshippers killed and 227 others injured. On his part, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak appreciated Ensour's warm sentiments, saying that the Jordanian stance against the criminal act was based on strong bilateral ties and common rejection of terrorism.
