The king recalled his patronage of the opening of the headquarters of the Disabled Children's Association and its first project in Riyadh in 1407 H., on behalf of the late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz. King Salman bin Abdulaziz noted the state's efforts for the care of children with disabilities and said that members of the community contributed to supporting this project. He stated that the association has worked for nearly thirty years to promote the principles of solidarity, compassion and loyalty, characteristics of the Saudi society. The king highlighted the achievements of the association, which, he said, represents one of the leading philanthropic institutions in the country.
