Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir, Foreign Minister, stressed that the Islamic Nation worried about continuing and increasing the suffering of the Yemeni people due to the Houthi militias' coup against the legitimate power with support of their ally, Ali Abdullah Saleh, and clear incitement from regional powers working to intervene in the affairs of the regional countries to ignite the fire of sedition and sectarianism in order to impose their hegemony and influence. In his speech before extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Yemen in Jeddah, Al-Jubeir said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has strong relations and long borders with Yemen, "the Kingdom and the GCC countries deal with the Yemeni crisis with a great responsibility in accordance with the principles of good neighborliness, the Charter of the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations to contain the conflict and stop the bloodshed of the Yemenis," he added. "Due to these serious developments, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and nine members of this organization responded to the call of the legitimate president of the Republic of Yemen Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to save Yemen and return the legitimacy through Operation Determination Storm and Operation Renewal Hope," Al-Jubeir said. "For the security and stability of Yemen, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud invited components and spectra of all Yemeni people to attend Riyadh conference in order to reach an agreement.
