President Omar Hasan Al-Bashir of The Sudan held a bilateral summit in Khartoum today with visiting Eritrean President Asias Afwerki. Ibrahim Ghandour, Sudan's recently-appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, said in a press statement following the meeting, that the two regional leaders discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations, including economic cooperation in view of the joint cultural, geographic and economic ties binding the two countries and peoples as well as regional and international issues of mutual concern.
