Zayani expressed, in his speech that was delivered on his behalf by Khalid Al-Ghassani, the GCC Assistant Secretary General for Media and Cultural Affairs, his appreciation and gratitude to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar and the incumbent president of the GCC Supreme Council, for the State of Qatar's hosting this meeting and what has been accorded to the march of GCC joint action of full support and care from him and the leaders of the GCC countries. Dr. Al-Zayani expressed pleasure at the opening of the 3rd Gulf Media Forum here yesterday under the title of "Electronic Media and Maximum Benefit from It."
