Jordan's King Abdullah II received here today Belgium's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Didier Reynders. During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields and reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East, and ways to deal with challenges, especially efforts to combat terrorist organizations, and bring about peace and stability to the region and its peoples. With regard to the efforts to achieve peace in the region, King Abdullah called upon international and regional parties, including the EU and Belgium, to create conditions to revive the peace process between Palestinians and Israelis, and overcome obstacles that stand in the way of resuming negotiations, based on the two-state solution.
