Youm newspaper said in an editorial titled ''Growing reliance on solar energy in the Kingdom'', saying that the time has come for the establishment of the first factory for the production of electricity from the solar energy in the Kingdom.
The paper cited a study as saying that the Kingdom is considered as one of the most important and best sources of solar energy in the world and that every square meter of the Kingdom can produce (7) kilowatts hourly of solar energy in every 12 hours of the daylight.
