A 6.8 degrees on Richter scale earthquake rattled Sulaiman islands this evening, the third quake to hit the region in three days without causing injuries or damages from the quake which the U.S. Geophysical institute fixed its center at ten kilometers in depth and about 450 kilometers south east of the capital Honiara. Sulaiman islands are located in the Atlantic ocean. An eight degrees earthquake hit the island in February 2013, killing ten and damaging hundreds of homes.
