Saudi-Sudanese Joint Ministerial Committee concluded its 5th session on Wednesday evening in Khartoum. The session lasted for two days. The Saudi delegation in meetings was headed by the Minister of Agriculture Eng. Abdul Rahman Abdul Mohsen al-Fadhli, while the Sudanese side was headed by the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Engineer Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid. The final statement issued at the end of the session explained the two sides discussed enchasing cooperation in the economic, trade and financial areas, and continuing coordination to remove obstacles, increase investments and activate the role of the private sector. The two sides also discussed cooperation in oil and mining to attract more Saudi companies to Sudan, and focus on increasing the area and agricultural support services and manufacturing industries, as well as communications, education, Islamic culture, media, youth and sports affairs.
