President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic of Yemen, confirmed here Tuesday at the conclusion of the Riyadh conference on "saving Yemen and building Federal State" that Riyadh document issued at the end of the conference is one of the basic references governing the political transition process in Yemen. The Yemen News Agency stated that in his speech at the conclusion of the conference, the Yemeni President explained that "Riyadh conference" has gained national and international legitimacy, and was a clear message to the whole world that all Yemenis of various political orientations and social backgrounds are united in supporting the constitutional legitimacy and against the coup and its results. The president said, "This was demonstrated in the broad and qualitative participation of representatives of political parties, social forces, youth, women, civil society organizations and all expatriates coming from all Yemeni provinces." President Hadi described the event as a victory for the Yemeni people, their valiant resistance, their great sacrifices and their right to a decent living. He added that the Riyadh document is one of the basic references governing the political transition process in Yemen and represented in the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism, the document of the outputs of the national dialogue and UN Security Council Resolution No. 2216, pointing out that the Riyadh document will be deposited with the United Nations to be added to the set of previous references. He stressed that the mandatory resolutions reached by the participants in the Riyadh conference in the historical Riyadh document will be an important factor in saving the homeland and restoring the state, calling on all political and social forces to abide by the resolutions and honestly and seriously work to implement them.
