The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) called for the revival of efforts to address the situation faced by thousands of Rohingya refugees and Bangladeshis, including asylum-seekers and economic migrants, who are stranded in a boat in the Andaman Sea and the Strait of Malacca. OIC's Secretary General Iyad bin Amin Madani has urged the international community to discuss possible ways and means to alleviate the suffering of those affected and stranded at sea, finding out the real causes of these human tragedies, in order to prevent aggravation of the situation, appealing to the Government of Myanmar to make way for necessary humanitarian deliveries to the groups that are most in need. -- SPA 19:56 LOCAL TIME 16:56 GMT تغريد
