US military helicopter missing in Nepal

A US military helicopter has gone missing in Nepal
while on a mission to help victims of the recent earthquakes in the
Himalayan country, says a US military spokesman, according to dpa.
Passengers on the helicopter, a UH-1Y Huey, included two Nepalese
soldiers and six US Marines, according to Army Major Dave Eastburn,
spokesman for US Pacific Command, in an email.
The helicopter went missing near Charikot, Nepal, Eastburn said. A
search operation is under way.
