Pakistan Scholars Council strongly condemned the terrorist aggression launched by the Houthi militias on the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which targeted the region of Najran and considered it a cowardly act of terrorism supported by regional hands hostile to the security of the country of the Two Holy Mosques. The head of the Pakistan Scholars Council Sheikh Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Al-Ashrafi said in a statement issued today in Lahore that the scholars of Pakistan call for the Islamic countries to prepare for and stand with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of terrorist aggression being posed by Houthi militias. He pointed out that the Houthi aggression on the territory of the Kingdom indicates that the goal of the Houthi rebellion and regional powers that support it is targeting the security of the country of the Two Holy Mosques, and not targeting Yemen, as Council of Pakistan Scholars warned since the starting of the Yemeni crisis.
