Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense received at Al-Dir'iya Conference Palace here today President Francois Hollande of the French Republic, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the beginning of the meeting, the French President congratulated Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz on the occasion of his selection as Crown Prince and his appointment as Second Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Chairman of Council of Economic Affairs and Development. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields, especially the defensive side, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the Middle East. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and a number of officials. On the French side, it was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Laurent Fabius; the Minister of Defense Jean-Yves Le Drian, and the French Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bertrand Besancenot.
