Real Madrid managed to stay just two points behind Spanish leaders Barcelona Saturday with a tight 3-2 win at fifth-placed Sevilla.
Ronaldo scored twice in the first half then Carlos Bacca replied forSevilla by converting a penalty.
Ronaldo completed his hat-trick to make it 3-1 then Vicente Iborra pulled a late goal back for Sevilla, who suffered their first home defeat in 19 months.
