Aziz bin Abdullah al-Sheikh delivered a speech in which he highlighted the great security and stability enjoyed by the kingdom and the success of Operation Determination Storm, urging people to unite and obey the leaders. He added that "in this blessed night we met, as ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him, to pledge allegiance to Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz as crown prince and pledge allegiance to Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz as Deputy Crown Prince." He stated, "This - God willing - is a blessed pledging of allegiance. We pray to Allah to unite our hearts to obey Him and unite ranks and support this blessed choice." He said, "Our leader chose this matter, which is in the interest of his people and which will benefit them in matters of religion and world. We ask Allah to glorify Islam, and guide Muslims to good and righteousness." He added, "We pledge allegiance on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of God and obedience in virtue and we ask God to guide and help" the Saudi leaders.
