Ahul-Hdeeth Central Society in Pakistan organized Sunday a symposium in the city of Lahore, capital of Punjab province, entitled "Defending the Land of the Two Holy Mosques". A number of official and religious figures of Pakistan, some senior officials at the Saudi Embassy in Pakistan and Dr. Khalid bin Ali Al-Ghamdi, Imam and Preacher of the Grand Mosque participated in the seminar In a speech at the seminar, Dr. Khalid bin Ali Al-Ghamdi praised the religious activities of Ahul-Hdeeth Central Society and its efforts to enlighten Muslims in the Republic of Pakistan about their religion, as well as its interest in the events in the Islamic nations and that what is happening in Yemen and the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in ensuring regional security and stability; praising the historical and fraternal relationship between religious scholars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Ahul-Hdeeth Central Society in Pakistan. Officials of the society, who spoke on the occasion expressing support for the kingdom, included its head Sheikh Sajid Mir and its secretary general Dr. Abdulkareem Bakhsh, who are members of the Senate and parliament respectively. Pakistani Minister of Transportation, Saad Rafiq, described Pakistan's relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as historical and close. Pakistani Secretary of State for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali, expressed support for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques government's decisions, confirming full readiness to defend the country of the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites.
