The Kingdom's General Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Shiekh, who is also Chairman of the Senior Ulema Commission, Religious Research Administration and Ifta, lauded today the decision issued yesterday by the coalition forces to end the operation of Determination Storm and launch the renewal of hope operation in Yemen. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, the Mufti said the decision taken by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz to launch the Determination Storm operation was not for bloodshed in Yemen but to ward off grievance from the innocents who had difficult times under the pressure of Houthi militias and their supporters. He drew the attention that the operation was also designed to restore legitimacy in Yemen, a Yemenis option usurped by the Houthi group. It is also prescribed to protect the two holy mosques from odious wills, noting that the coming period is ushering in optimism and hope that Yemen would return as safe, stable and secure as before. He thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his stance by the side of the Yemeni people and the efforts he exerted together with the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to support Yemeni people against aggression, citing the king's gesture of allotting $274 million for relief humanitarian works in Yemen through the United Nations. He urged the Yemenis to unite and work for the interests of their religion and life, distance themselves from sedition and difference and focus on rehabilitation of their country.
