A bomb threat, which proved to be a hoax, forced an Indonesian passenger jet carrying 131 people to make an emergency landing on Friday, an official said. The Batik Air plane was flying from Ambon on the Molucca Islands to Jakarta when air traffic control received a phone call saying there was a bomb on the flight, dpa quoted Transport Ministry spokesman Julius Barata as saying. The plane landed at the Sultan Hasanuddin international airport on Sulawesi island. "The bomb squad examined the plane and found nothing," he said.
