Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, attended here Monday evening the banquet hosted in his honor by Chargé d'affaires of the Saudi embassy in Pakistan Minister Plenipotentiary Jassim bin Mohammed al-Khalidi. During the banquet, Minister of Islamic Affairs met a large number of dignitaries, ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and members of the embassy. Sheikh Saleh confirmed that the kingdom and the GCC and coalition countries have responded to the call of Yemeni legitimate President to ward off the aggressor and eliminate the risk to the region. Heads of some large Pakistani groups and parties, led by Sheikh Fazlur Rahman Amir Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, and some Pakistani intellectuals stressed their support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Religious Affairs of Pakistan Sardar Mohammad Yousuf and Deputy President of the Senate Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, the Special Adviser to the Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al-Ammar, and other officials.
