Asian stock markets were mostly higher Monday after weak Chinese trade data increased expectations that Beijing will launch new stimulus, AP reported. The Shanghai Composite Index added 1.8 percent to 4,107.12 and Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 1.6 percent to 27,705.42. Seoul's Kospi rose 0.5 percent to 2,098.92 and India's Sensex opened up 0.2 percent at 28,942.14. Singapore and New Zealand also rose. Sydney's S&P ASX 200 shed 0.1 percent to 5,960.30 and Tokyo's Nikkei 225 was unchanged at 19,905.46 after briefly passing 20,000 last week.
