The Joint Saudi-Portuguese Committee held its 2nd session in Lisbon yesterday. The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the session was headed by Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah; while the Portuguese side was headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Portugal, Dr. Paulo Portash. During the session, they signed an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income between the two countries, as well as a memorandum of understanding to establish Joint Saudi-Portuguese Business Council.
