Spokesman for the Foreign Political Affairs Committee of the Christian Democrats Party at the German Parliament Philip Masfieldr called upon the international community to support "Determination Storm" led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with participation of a number of GCC, Arab and Islamic countries for supporting legitimacy in Yemen. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Masfieldr asked the United Nations to issue a resolution banning Houthi for exporting weapons after its withdrawal from Sana'a. He added that the Houthi rebel group reneged on all the agreements that are made between them and the Yemeni legitimate government. The German official stressed that the terrorist organization "ISIS" in Syria and Iraq and the Houthi rebel group are a threat to the Arabian Gulf and the Middle East. He confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a strategic security partner to Germany, calling upon the German government to support the coalition in order to eliminate the Houthi group.
