French president says terrorist threat remains high

Thousands of troops will remain deployed in France due
to the continued high threat of a terrorist attack, dpa quoted President
Francois Hollande as saying Wednesday.
Some 10,000 military troops were deployed in the wake of
shooting attacks in Paris in early January that left 20 people,
including three gunmen, dead.
