Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local and international issues.
On the Egyptian president's visit to the kingdom, Almadinah newspaper said that the Saudi-Egyptian summit, which convened yesterday in Riyadh between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, stressed the depth and firmness of Saudi-Egyptian relations.
Al-Riyadh newspaper also highlighted the historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt and their pivotal role in the region.
On Saudi diplomacy, Alwatan newspaper underlined Saudi diplomatic efforts for peace in the region, saying that the recent, active Saudi diplomacy will not rest until it stabilizes the region.
