The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait announced here today that its embassy in Yemen will resume its duties from the southern Yemeni city of Aden. An official source at the ministry said in a statement to KUNA here today that, the State of Kuwait, has decided, as part of its support for the constitutional legitimacy in Yemen under the leadership of President Abdrabbou Mansour Hadi, and according to the provisions of the GCC initiative, to resume the operations of its embassy in Yemen from Aden. He said the decision is in line with the GCC foreign ministers recent meeting outcomes and the UN security council resolution No. 2201, noting that the security and stability of Yemen would not be implemented unless the parties comply with the GCC initiative and its executive mechanism.
